Społeczny Fundusz Polonii w Queensland

Społeczny Fundusz Polonii w Queensland, utworzony w 2008 roku, gromadzi środki na cel krzewienia polskiej kultury, historii i tradycji, wspieranie działalności polonijnych organizacji młodzieżowych w Queensland oraz promocję dobrego imienia Polski i Polaków.

W grudniu 2009 rozpatrzono wnioski o pomoc finansowa złożone podczas pierwszej rundy fundacyjnej.  Przyznano następujące dotacje:

1. Muzeum i archiwum Polonii w Queensland - $1,000 – na cel digitalizacji materiałów archiwalnych zachowanych na taśmie filmowej i magnetofonowej
2. Renata Buziak - $500 – publikacja albumu fotografii artystycznej pt “Afterimage” oraz pogadanka autorska.

Zarząd Funduszu zawiadamia o otwarciu drugiej rundy fundacyjnej.  Wnioski o przyznanie dotacji należy składać do dnia 20 kwietnia 2010.  Szczegółowe informacje o warunkach przyznawania pomocy finansowej oraz formularz wniosku można pobrać na stronie internetowej Stowarzyszenia Polaków w Queensland www.polonia.org.au.  (tutaj)

Polish Community of Queensland Fund

The Polish Community of Queensland Fund, established in 2008, provides financial gifts for activities promoting Polish culture, history and traditions, supports Polish youth organisations in Queensland and promotes a positive image of Poland and Polish community.

In December 2009 the Fund assessed applications submitted during the first funding round.

The following activities received were supported:

1. Polish Museum and Archives in Queensland - $1,000 – for digital preservation of archival materials captured on films and audio tapes
2. Renata Buziak - $500 – contribution towards publication of a photographic album Afterimage and artist’s public lecture.

The second funding round has been recently announced.  The Fund invites interested individuals and organisations to peruse the information contained in the funding guidelines on this page  (www.polonia.org.au).  Applications must be lodged no later than 20 April 2010.  (here)
